We want to empower you to grow in your walk with the Lord! Every good tool box has the standard tools - hammer, screwdriver and a wrench. Every Christian needs some standard tools in their toolbox, as well. We offer a variety of ministries, programs, resources and tools for helping your roots to go deep in God. Here are a few standard tools we recommend... Attend the Weekend Services - Make a decision to be a regular attender during our weekend services. Bring your whole family! You'd be surprised how many times the Lord will answer a question, or give a piece of wisdom or a needed Scripture during the weekend message. The Lord knows what you are facing and He finds a way to customize the messages to meet you right where you are at. When people become regular attenders on the weekend, they often find the answers and wisdom they needed!
Take "Getting a Grip on the Basics" - The Christian life without a foundation is one of ups and downs. When we do not have a solid grip on the Word; we experience the defeated, roller-coaster Christian life. This is not God's best for any of His children. We highly recommend you learn the basics and/or refresh yourself in the truths you already know. There is something powerful and life-changing about digging into the Word and strenghtening your spiritual foundation. Our "Get a Grip" classes are designed to do just that.
Get in a Small Group - If you want to study the Word with a small group of people around a topic of interest; then, small groups are the place to be! Small groups are the best way to meet new friends in a large church. We offer a variety of Life Groups, Freedom Groups, Interest Groups and Social Groups.
Discover-Find out more about AWC by participating in Class101 which is held quarterly. Ask questions and find out who we are, where we are going, and how we function as a family. Continue your education by taking subsequent Classes 201-401.
